Scottish Consumer Council backs smoking ban

The SCC supports the proposed ban on smoking, arguing that the market has failed to respond to the preferences of the majority of Scottish consumers, particularly in places where food is served.

Scots get key information to help them understand their health rights
A new series of information leaflets designed to help people in Scotland make the best use of the health service is published today. The leaflets have been produced by Health Rights Information Scotland, a project funded by the Scottish Executive and set up as part of the Scottish Consumer Council.
